There is nothing like watching the
planes land at BWI Thurgood Marshall while you take a break from biking. The Dixon Aircraft Observation Area is a place where bikers can rest, children can play, and people can watch
airplanes glide to the runway. I found people utilizing every part of this
space as long as its open. Families bring their children to play and watch the planes and bikers
park their cars to get ready to ride. The parking lot is overflowing with cars
which suggest the space could be bigger to allow more people to use this area.
